I am keen to find out anything about a tavern or hotel out on Lear’s Road off the Natimuk-Francis Rd. just West of Mitre Rock.
This would have been possibly mid to late 1800’s.
I have been told this is where my family came from. The son or grand son of the family could have been my Grandfather, William John Lear died in 1970 age 86.
I know its a long shot but any information would be really appreciated .
I am in the area until mid next week (Wednesday 15th October) happy to take a run out to Natimuk if I can talk with anyone.
